L266 Metal bass in E “gallop” style

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites
Picked this technique up after seeing a demonstration video on youtube with the great and versatile bass player Bryan Beller. Its basically a hybrid between 2 and 3 finger right hand plucking, the basic pattern is 1 32 1 2, 1 32 1 2…

You should really take a look at Frantic Disembowelment, by Cannibal Corpse, it may not be your cup of tea, but they’re amazing musicians.

Thomas, recently saw Bryan Beller at a clinic here at The Atlanta Bass Gallery(ATL,Georgia,USA). Right hand fingering is mostly 1,2 & 4. Very different! Barely uses his middle finger(3).

Continued thanks for your contributions,
Jim

Malow: You Mad Man! Loved it, ate it up! You can really pull the thunder out of that bass. I laughed really hard at the devil horns and smirk you finished with. You have a great sense of humor and are an inspiriation. THANK YOU!!

Leo

MarloweDK: Spike| Well, thank you for the thumb(s) up:-)

MarloweDK: Hmm, the link has gone missing, let me locate it and get back to you

Murdy: Hey Marlowe, I bought the L253 in order toget the backing track. However, there is no backing track without the bass. Is there a way to get this?

hank: Thanks Marlowe! I guess I better start saving up. I can't wait to get one. I'm positive if I get one then my playing automatically gets funkier right? :)

MarloweDK: Hank: my sig bass will be presented at the Frankfurt musik messe in march. I dont know of the price but i guess it will be priced in the same range as Sandbergs California models. There is a couple of american retailers, check Sandbergs site.

soporific: Hi guys!

Harry Popper: hi, GospelBassMan

GospelBassMan: Hello community!!

hank: Will your bass be mass produced? Do you think it will be affordable (relatively speaking) Will it be offered online for us Americans that wanna buy it?

chooty: Thank you very much.
