Band In A Box is a great tool to help you practice. Here’s a Screencast Tutorial which shows you how to use it to generate fresh sight reading etudes at the touch of a couple of buttons (if you’re reading music you should have a constant ‘diet’ of fresh material to work with).
Just for the record I have no affiliation with PG Music who make band in a box – I just think it’s a great program for bass players to use to practice with.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to head over to my how to play bass website and use the contact form to email me.
Thanks Paul for this great tutorial, I have been using BIAB for a while but I didn’t know these features. I already started with some scores to print and sight read, very helpful for this purpose!
As a novice user of BIAB, I found this video very helpful. Hope to see more video tutorials in the future. Thank you for posting.
