This lesson is a little insight view on the main riff of the piece “Impro on fretless bass”, that you can find on my profile: Improvisation on fretless bass on Youtube
This bass line is in G major scale.
New lessons about fretless playing, starting from creating bass riffs to adding flavours to your lines and your playing, will coming soon. ![]()
great choice of instrument and brilliant playing as well thankx
I like the fretless piece in the video,I got some of it however,my old washburn don’t play like his bass does,it’s old I bought it used and after calibrating it the action is still to high so, it don’t come out like the video. It did make me clean up the fretless and I’m havin fun with it.
Brilliant playing! I’m a fretless junkie and would love to learn this lick! do you have any notes available on it?

That’s really nice playing but I don’t think it counts as a LESSON does it? What people need are exercises to help to get the tecnique required to play this and understanding of theory to know how the piece is constructed.
