Here’s a quick video tutorial on how to play Time Is Tight – the original was played by Duck Dunn and of course the artist was Booker T and The MGs.
This tune is a good discipline for beginners – because the bass line is doubled by the guitar and/or the organ you have to deliver it consistently throughout the tune. So learn the line, and then play along with the original and try and cop some of Duck’s energy and groove.

: Hank: my sig bass will be presented at the Frankfurt musik messe in march. I dont know of the price but i guess it will be priced in the same range as Sandbergs California models. There is a couple of american retailers, check Sandbergs site.
